This piece, published in Radix Magazine, is based on a conversation with d'Angelo Dia. In it, he and I share our thoughts on the ways the Bible has been interpreted over time and what comic books and graphic novels can teach us about reading the Bible. We discuss the importance of theological imagination and comics as a model for meaningful engagement with scripture. I transcribed and edited the conversation for publication.
